Man dies, young woman injured in ATV accident in Rhode Island – Fall River Reporter

One person is dead and another injured in an accident involving an off-road vehicle.

Shortly after 7:30 p.m., the dispatch center received an emergency call for an ATV rider who had fallen from his vehicle in a backyard on Laurel Road. Resuscitation attempts were unsuccessful.

The Rhode Island State Police, Exeter Fire Department #1 and Exeter Rescue arrived at the scene.

According to several reports, an adult man died in the incident and a young woman was taken to hospital with abdominal injuries.

The incident is under investigation.
