The police-involved shooting occurred near 60th and Q streets in June of last year after Omaha police were called to a disturbance at another residence near 73rd and Corby. The affidavit states that Wilson, who was a DoorDash driver with a permit to carry a concealed weapon at the time, got into an argument with the homeowner over the amount of the tip and pointed a gun at two customers before driving away.

As police investigated the disturbance, Wilson exchanged several shots with a female officer until she was able to shoot him in the leg. As more officers arrived at the scene, they applied a tourniquet to Wilson’s leg. The injury was not life-threatening and he was taken to hospital.

Wilson’s sentencing is scheduled for July 2.
