1 dead after accident in Logansport

LOGANSPORT, Indiana – A 36-year-old woman died in a crash in Logansport on Sunday, according to Logansport police.

Officers were dispatched to a two-vehicle crash on US 35 west of 18th St. in Logansport. Upon arrival, investigators located a 2022 Chevrolet Trailblazer traveling eastbound on US 35 when it crossed the median and was struck by a 2020 Honda Pilot.

The passenger of the Honda was pronounced dead at the scene. The drivers of the Honda and the Chevy were taken to a nearby hospital for further treatment.

It is believed that the weather is a contributing factor.
