Atlanta Braves News: AJ Minter Returns to Atlanta, MLB Top 100 Prospects Update, More

The Braves had an off day Monday, as they are in the midst of a much-needed long home series as the season passes the halfway mark and enters July. Atlanta won a series against the Pirates over the weekend, but still faced lingering offensive struggles in its loss Sunday.

Fortunately, there was some good news on Monday with AJ Minter. Minter missed a month of action with a hip injury but was able to get back on track. The Braves are hoping his return will allow the bullpen to remain as reliable as ever and continue to play a big role in close games, like their win on Saturday. That could be a needed asset for the Braves as they finish this series at home against the Giants and Phillies.
