Colorado Springs Fire Department responds to accident at I-25 and Uintah St.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado – Colorado Springs Fire Department officials responded to the scene of a trapped man Monday afternoon.

According to CSFD, the accident occurred near I-25 and Uintah Street. The agency is asking the public to remain alert as emergency crews will be working in that area.

According to the City of Colorado Springs, the Uintah Street exit northbound on I-25 is currently closed.

What caused the accident and whether anyone was injured is currently unclear. The story will continue to develop.
