An investigation is underway following a death at the Miami County Jail – WOWO News/Talk 92.3 FM, 1190 AM, 107.5 FM & 97.3 HD2

MIAMI COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO) – State Police began investigating Thursday after an inmate died in Miami County.

Officials say 36-year-old David Douglass was an inmate at the Miami County Jail.

At this point it is not clear exactly how he died.

More information is expected to become available following an autopsy by the Miami County Coroner’s Office.

The investigation is ongoing.
