Technician dies in car accident in Jubliee Hills, driver flees

Hyderabad: A 33-year-old software employee died in a hit-and-run accident near AVIS Hospital Jubilee Hills early Sunday, June 23, police said.

The victim has been identified as M Shiva Shankar. According to local media, Jubliee Hills Sub-Inspector M Rakesh said, “When Shiva Shankar was hit by the car, he fell off the motorcycle on the road and died on the spot due to his injuries. The driver of the car who caused the accident managed to escape from the accident spot.”

A case has been registered under Section 304(A) (culpable homicide) of the Indian Penal Code. Officials are trying to trace the car and identify the driver.

Further investigations are ongoing.
