Man dies after motorcycle accident in Westmoreland County

A man has died after a motorcycle accident in Westmoreland County.

According to Westmoreland County Coroner Scottie Joe Hawkins, 32, of Leechburg, was riding a Harley-Davidson motorcycle on Markle Road in Allegheny Township on Saturday.

Hawkins came off the right side of the road at around 7:36 p.m.

He was thrown from the motorcycle and pronounced dead at the scene of the accident at 9:04 p.m.

The coroner said he was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
