Gorham driver accused of hit-and-run arrested for drunk driving – Finger Lakes Daily News

A hit-and-run accident in the town of Canandaigua early Sunday morning led to the arrest of a Gorham man.

Steven Roat was arrested following a roadside manhunt by the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office after officers spotted his truck traveling south on State Route 247 and conducted a traffic stop.

Roat was charged with DUI and driving under the influence with a blood alcohol content of .08% or more. Roat will return to Gorham Municipal Court at a later date to answer the charges.
