Diddy accused of multiple sexual assaults in seventh lawsuit

According to NBC, a seventh lawsuit has been filed against Sean “Diddy” Combs. April Lampros claims the hip-hop mogul drugged and sexually assaulted her while she was studying fashion in New York City over 20 years ago.

Lampros claims Combs promised to mentor her and give her contacts in the industry before he became “aggressive” and “coercive.” The lawsuit says she met him in 1994 while studying at FIT and that Combs sexually assaulted her four times. The first time was in 1995 after they met at a Manhattan bar, where Combs pressured her to drink alcohol. After a few sips, she felt “uncomfortable” and was led to a car with Combs. At a hotel, Combs forced himself on her and forcibly kissed her. Despite her pleas to stop, Combs undressed her and she passed out as he raped her, the lawsuit says.

Combs sent Lampros gifts, cards, and flowers for months after the incident. She agreed to meet with him to discuss business opportunities and give him another chance. The next assault occurred in 1995, when the two were on their way to dinner and a slightly drunk Combs forced Lampros to her knees in the parking garage. He unzipped his pants and forced her to perform oral sex. Afterward, Lampros expressed her “decision to distance herself,” after which Combs threatened her with physical violence and blacklisted her from the entire fashion industry.

The third encounter took place in 1996. The lawsuit alleges that Combs forced Lampros to have sex with his girlfriend Kim Porter – who died of pneumonia in 2018 – after forcing her to take ecstasy.

In 1998, Lampros ended her relationship with Combs. She also claims that Porter and Combs had her fired from a bar after they noticed she worked there. Porter allegedly told Lampros’ manager that Lampros tried to poison Porter, which Lampros believes was retaliation.

About two years later, Combs and Lampros met by chance at an event. Combs said he missed her. He then called her for days after she refused to go with him, asking if she would see him at his apartment. She “reluctantly” agreed to let him come to her home. Combs grabbed her and forced himself on her, kissing and touching her without her consent. After she fought him off, she reached for her door and demanded that Combs leave.

Years after she broke off ties with Combs, Lampros discovered that Combs had filmed the two having sex without her knowledge and shown the footage to others.

In a statement released today, Lampros said: “I am confident that justice will prevail and the veil will be lifted so that no other woman has to endure what I went through.”

Earlier this week, former model Crystal McKinney filed a sexual assault lawsuit against Combs. In February, Lil Rod filed a sexual misconduct lawsuit. In December, a woman who identified herself only as Jane Doe filed a lawsuit alleging gang rape when she was 17 years old. In November, Joi Dickerson-Neal and another woman who identified herself only as Jane Doe filed sexual assault lawsuits. That same month, Cassie filed a sexual assault lawsuit and the case was settled within two days.
