Police search for car of teenager killed in Jacksonville

JACKSONVILLE, Arkansas – A 17-year-old was killed in the early morning hours of June 30 and police are asking for the public’s help in locating a vehicle that fled the scene of the accident.

Officers with the Jacksonville Police Department arrived at the scene near the 1100 block of Heather Street around 3 a.m. Sunday to investigate a shooting.

Police found a 17-year-old girl with multiple gunshot wounds. She was later pronounced dead at a local hospital.

The suspect reportedly fled the scene in a white car and police released a photo of the car.
