An argument and fight broke out in an area outside the lounge. When an officer intervened, the judge said he hit him. She said it was an accident.

According to police, Peterson stabbed the officer in the chest. The video then shows the officer wrestling her to the ground and handcuffing her.

According to witnesses, Peterson was trying to stop a man from attacking another woman.

“She was the one who grabbed him. She didn’t mean to hit the cop,” Alexandria Love said.

“I don’t know what happened, but I know she didn’t intentionally mean to harm any police officer,” said another witness, Madison Kelley.

Love says she was the one Peterson tried to help and the man who attacked her got away.
