Sunny, hot with air quality warning until the weekend

During this period, authorities expect air pollution, particularly ozone, to rise to levels considered harmful to sensitive groups such as the elderly, children and people with heart or respiratory diseases.

On alert days, residents can help reduce air pollution by limiting or avoiding gasoline use, carpooling or using public transportation, refraining from using gasoline-powered lawn equipment, and not burning yard waste.

Sunday will be sunny and hot, with temperatures rising to around 34 degrees.

The night into Sunday will be mostly clear and mild, with lows only falling to around 22 degrees.

On Monday, highs will rise a bit more, reaching around 99 degrees, while lows will drop to around 74 degrees overnight under partly cloudy skies.
