LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Police are on duty Saturday morning battling a barricade situation in the northwest valley.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department confirmed to Channel 13 that the incident occurred in the area of ​​Searchers Avenue and Western Front Street.

Officers responded to a call to a residence because a suspect had threatened a victim with a weapon.

The victim managed to leave the apartment and notify the authorities.
