Ozark shooting investigation leads to second arrest | WDHN

OZARK, Alabama (WDHN) – A second person has been arrested in connection with a shooting at a party in Ozark on May 5.

Man arrested after shooting at party in Ozark, police say


During the party, a verbal altercation occurred which led to a physical altercation, which resulted in several shots being fired into the party from the parking lot behind the local store where the party was taking place, injuring one attendee.

Delonta Smith, 24, was found in Andalusia, arrested and charged with attempted murder and shooting at an inhabited building on July 17.

No further information is available as the investigation is still ongoing.
