US Marshals Service finally arrests burglary suspect

Adam SiJohn was arrested at his home near the 1300 block of West Boone Ave, Spokane, Washington.

SPOKANE, Wash. — A burglary suspect was arrested at his home around 12:30 p.m. today.

Adam SiJohn was arrested at his home near the 1300 block of West Boone Avenue by the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO), the United States Border Patrol, and the U.S. Marshals Pacific Northwest Violent Offender Task Force (PNVOTF).

SiJohn was accused of threatening two adults with a knife and/or a club and stealing items without permission.

According to PNVOTF, he is charged with first-degree assault, first-degree robbery and second-degree assault.

U.S. Marshals with PNVOTF said they believe SiJohn was actively assisted by others in evading law enforcement in the area.

Deputies and police officers managed to arrest SiJohn without confrontation.

The US Marshals Service said it received dozens of tips from the public that helped it locate and arrest SiJohn.

U.S. Marshal Craig Thayer said, “Community support has once again helped our partner agencies apprehend a fugitive and make the community safer for everyone.”
