Native American historian White Eagle Spear is giving a presentation titled “Pocahontas: Tragedy and Disney,” when the Ellicottville Historical Society meets Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the Ellicottville Memorial Library, 6499 Maples Road. Everyone is welcome.

NOT FORGOTTEN – The Buffalo History Museum presents a new exhibit, “The Life and Death of Buffalo’s Great Northern Elevator: 1897-2023,” with a reception Wednesday at 6 p.m. Photographer Bruce Jackson, whose images are among those presented in the exhibition, will offer a commentary.
