Detectives investigate shooting on Front Street Extension in Seaford – Delaware State Police

Delaware State Police are investigating a shooting that occurred early Saturday morning in Seaford.

On June 1, 2024, at approximately 12:36 a.m., police officers were called to a report of shots fired near a residence on Front Street Extension. Preliminary investigation revealed that an argument between unknown persons occurred near the residence, after which shots were fired. A 22-year-old man was struck by gunfire and taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Detectives from Squad 4 are still investigating this shooting. Detectives are asking any witnesses or anyone with information about this case to contact Detective D. Hickman at (302) 752-3856.
