UPDATE: 3:20 p.m.

A bomb threat was received against the courthouse, which is now being investigated. According to eyewitnesses, the canine unit was dispatched. Currently, all offices in the city center are closed until further notice, and the assessor’s office and the DMV will also remain closed for the rest of the day.

On June 3rd, at approximately 2:30 p.m., individuals began evacuating the Elmore County Courthouse due to an unspecified incident. Currently, the courthouse is closed until further notice, please plan accordingly. Update to follow as soon as it is posted.
