Houston opened the scoring in the 29th minute when striker Aliyu Ibrahim put a ball into the box from the left side towards midfield Adalberto “Coco” Carrasquillawho controlled and put a shot on the ball which deflected into the back of the net.

Defender Brad Smith tied the game at three goals apiece in the 78th minute when he received the ball on a Houston counterattack and fired a shot across the goal into the top corner that didn’t give the goalkeeper a chance to save.
