Man dead after incident on farm

BOTKINS, Ohio (WDTN) — A man is dead following an incident on a farm on Sunday, June 9.


According to Botkins Police, emergency crews responded to the 15,000-mile block of County Road 25A after the incident was reported.

After an investigation, the emergency services found that a man had been fatally injured while baling hay in the field.

The man was identified as Craig Barhorst, 38, of Shelby County.

The Botkins Police Department was assisted by the Botkins Fire Department, Anna Rescue and the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office.
