2 dead, 2 injured after Ohio home explosion – WHIO TV 7 and WHIO Radio

FULTON COUNTY, OHIO – Two people are dead and two others are injured after a house explosion in Ohio early Thursday morning.

According to Toledo television stations WTOL and WTVG, firefighters were dispatched to County Road K and County Road 12 near Wauseon around 5:30 a.m. Thursday morning in Fulton County.

A father and daughter died after the explosion.

A mother and son are hospitalized with injuries, WTVG reports.

A lot of smoke and debris could be seen in videos and pictures after the explosion.

Pieces of the house were scattered across the front yard and an excavator was brought in to help dig out the rubble, WTOL reports.

The cause of the explosion is still under investigation.
