The couple, who were 17 and 18 years old when they raped a “defenceless” woman in a Shropshire hotel, are now in prison

Harley King, now 19, from Newcastle, and Ben Jennings, 20, from Cramlington in Northumberland, were both sentenced to eight years and six months in prison after being found guilty at Shrewsbury Crown Court in June.

King was found guilty on three counts: two counts of rape of a 16-year-old woman and one count of voyeurism, or recording a private act.

Jennings was found guilty of two counts of rape of a female aged 16 or over and one count of sexual assault of a 16-year-old female.

The charges relate to offences that took place in Oswestry in 2022.
