Person dead in apartment complex near Atlantic Station

ATLANTA – Atlanta police are investigating after a man was found dead in an apartment complex near Atlantic Station Wednesday afternoon.

Police said they were called to 391 17th Street, the address of the Farrington Midtown apartment complex, on a 911 call about a person lying on the ground/injured.

When officers arrived, they found a man who was “not awake, conscious, or breathing.” Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene. Police are still trying to determine how the man died.

The apartment complex is located directly opposite the green area and pond of the Millennium Gate Museum.
