Man from Le Mars arrested for stalking, more | News

ORANGE CITY – A 30-year-old Le Mars man was arrested in Orange City at approximately 7:25 p.m. on Wednesday, May 29. He is charged with driving while suspended, driving without required high-risk insurance, stalking in violation of a restraining order and two counts of violating a restraining order or restraining order.

Nicholas Lee Baltazar’s arrest came after he was filmed driving a 2010 Chevrolet Impala in Orange City, in the area where a person he is not allowed to have contact with lives, according to Orange City police.

He is banned from driving, but according to the accident report he admitted that he was fit to drive.

Baltazar sent the person a text message on Thursday, May 23, at around 11:30 p.m. and “liked” a previous text message from the protected person on Tuesday, May 28, at around 10:55 a.m.
