Red Dead Redemption 2 fans discover deleted content that was

It’s hard to believe it could get any darker

It’s common for open-world titles to leave out a lot of content due to their size, but that hasn’t stopped diehard fans from recently discovering some omitted dialogue Red Dead Redemption 2.

With Red Dead Redemption 2 The main story alone takes around 60 hours to complete, not to mention side quests, random events, and more, but there’s no denying that its scope makes it one of the biggest open-world titles of all time.

Therefore, it is clear that Rockstar Games would have had to cut many planned features – and in this case dialogues – in order not to overwhelm the players.

What they could not foresee, however, was that Red Dead Redemption 2 should become one of the most popular games of all time, and fans are desperate for more content, even if it’s just a newly discovered voice line or two.

This was the discussion that took place on r/reddeadredemption after a use pointed out an “interesting dialogue cut.” With a sample of Jack Marston’s original voice and John Marston’s visit to Arthur’s grave in the epilogue, fans get insight into the developers’ early decisions.

Most interesting, however, are the omitted dialogues that show Arthur in a way we’ve never heard him before. During the mission “Outlaws from the West,” we hear Arthur Morgan sound much angrier than we’re used to, but according to one fan, there might be a reason for that.

They said: “Note: Arthur was supposed to be a much colder and angrier character in the game, as his baby was supposed to die in the opening scene, which is why Arthur sounds so angry.”

That would definitely explain his angry tone, but it is believed that Rockstar rejected the idea because they thought it was “far too dark.”
