3 teens killed, 1 injured in single-vehicle rollover crash Monday night on I-35 access road | News

Three teenagers were killed and one was injured in a one-vehicle rollover crash on the Interstate 35 access road near mile marker 312 on Monday, according to a news release from Troy police.

Troy police arrived at the crash around 5:45 p.m. Monday. Police determined that all four occupants, who are under the age of 18, were ejected from the vehicle during the crash. Three people were pronounced dead at the scene and one person was taken to Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Temple with unknown injuries.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the vehicle was traveling south on the side road but then left the road and overturned.

Troy Police consulted with the affected families, who expressed a desire to keep the victims’ identities confidential so that other distant family members could be notified.

The accident is being investigated.
