Woman found dead in San Jose home, suspect arrested, police say

SAN JOSE, Calif. (KGO) – A possible suspect who barricaded himself in a house in San Jose on Monday evening was arrested, according to police. Police also found the body of a woman in the house.

The incident occurred shortly after 6 p.m. in the 300 block of N. 20th Street.

According to police, members of special forces negotiated with the barricaded suspect for two and a half hours.

The SJPD advises residents to stay away from the area as the scene is still “very active.”
