Boise High School student dies in car accident

BOISE, Idaho — Zuleyka Angulo, a student at Boise High School, was killed in a car accident. Principal Deborah Watts said the student died yesterday, July 19, and the family asked for privacy.

“We realize this news is difficult to process and we are heartbroken by this loss. As a school family and community, we will support each other and process this as best we can. Please keep Zuleyka’s family in your thoughts,” the school’s principal wrote in an email.

Principal Watts also stated that the Boise School District Crisis Team will be available on Monday, July 22, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. for students and teachers who need assistance.

The school also included several items to help the young people cope with their grief and expressed its condolences to the family.
