Woman arrested near Fillmore after leading cops on 60-mile chase

FILLMORE, Utah (KUTV) — The Utah Highway Patrol arrested a woman near Fillmore after she got into a chase with a police officer.

UHP Lt. Michael Gordon said an officer attempted to stop a black Honda Accord for speeding around 7 p.m. Friday when the driver failed to stop.

The trooper tried to stop the driver at mile marker 103 on northbound I-15, and the woman eventually stopped at mile marker 164, Gordon said.

Gordon said the woman was taken into custody.

Her age and identity were not released. Gordon said she was the only occupant of the car.
