Girlfriend of surfer found dead in Mexico shares his last voicemail

Murdered surfer Callum Robinson’s final voicemail to his girlfriend: ‘I’m just thinking about you’

The girlfriend of the murdered Australian surfer Callum Robinson expresses her sadness.

Days after Callum, his brother Jake Robinson and friend Jack Carter Rhoad Emily Horwath, who was found dead in Baja California, Mexico, reflected on their life together and revealed what he told her in his final message.

“Have a nice Tuesday. Good morning It’s 11:11 a.m. and all I’m thinking about is you. “I just wanted to leave you a quick message and say hello, baby,” Callum says in the voicemail, which appears alongside the photo on Instagram Stories of him with a cup of coffee on the beach. “I hope you have a phenomenal start to your day. I, um, I’m sending a big smile to your face today for some reason. I hope you are full of positivity and smiles. Cheers, baby. I miss you.”

Alongside the voicemail, she wrote: “That’s exactly what you were. Positivity and smiles.”

She also posted photos and videos of her and Callum together, including him getting a pedicure, on her Instagram Stories highlights.

“Cal used to go for pedicures and we would put smiley faces on his big toes,” she remembers. “I called them his happy vacuum cleaners. Even his toes were happy.”
