One man died and another was seriously injured in an accident in Aquebogue

One man died and another was seriously injured in a head-on collision in Aquebogue on Friday, Riverhead police said.

Around noon, a driver on Main Road collided directly with the vehicle of 67-year-old Matthew Schramm from Huntington Station.

According to police, both men were seriously injured when emergency services arrived at the scene.

According to authorities, Schramm later died in a hospital.
