Israel’s war against Gaza live: Nuseirat camp attacked 63 times in one week | News on the Israel-Palestine conflict

The Reuters news agency, citing residents in southern Rafah, reports heavy fighting between Hamas-led fighters and Israeli forces, particularly in the center and west, where Israeli tanks have advanced over the past two days.

The report came after the armed wings of Islamic Jihad and Hamas said their fighters had fired anti-tank missiles and mortar shells at Israeli forces in Rafah and the so-called Netzarim Corridor, which separates the north of the Gaza Strip from the south.

Meanwhile, the Israeli military said its soldiers had killed a group of fighters approaching them and destroyed ammunition, tunnel shafts and infrastructure in Tal as-Sultan in the eastern part of the city of Rafah.
