Uncle Luke criticizes Drake for liking an attack post on Rick Ross

Uncle Luke has a message for Drake. Rick Ross was recently attacked after a show in Vancouver, BC, while Kendrick’s Drake diss track “Not Like Us” played in the background. Although Drizzy had nothing to do with the altercation, he liked a post by Keep6ixSolid on Instagram, and this is clearly worrying the former 2 Live Crew leader. He posted a 13-minute clip on social media calling the violence “unacceptable” and describing Drake’s liking of the post as “even more unacceptable.”

“This whole argument… My boy Ross and his boys in Canada, this is unacceptable,” he said. “This shouldn’t be happening. And what’s even more unacceptable is that Mr. Drake liked the post.”

“I expect more from Mr. Drake,” Uncle Luke added. “When there is violence, you don’t tolerate it. Mr. Drake, you should try harder than that. You don’t like posts because that’s what happens: there’s always a backlash.”

He added: “Now you have interfered… Even though you were not involved, half the country believes you set the man up. … When you, Mr. Drake, liked the post, you just interfered in the violence against Mr. Ross and his crew.”

Luke then talks about trying to make peace between 2Pac and Biggie Smalls, saying, “I seen how that shit ends, man.”

Billboard has reached out to Drake’s representative for comment.

The day after the incident in Vancouver, Drake wished his fans a happy Canada Day on his Instagram story and said “Cheers to the whole country” while enjoying a summer cocktail outside.

In a separate post on his IG feed, the Toronto rapper shared a video of himself and his friends rapping along to Vancouver rappers Rascalz’s “Northern Touch.” “Why you people wanna fuck with us, nobody can keep up with us,” Drake can be heard saying.

After the attack – which was captured on video – Rick Ross posted a photo on his Instagram story showing himself in front of a private jet and wrote: “Vancouver, it was fun, see you next time.” He also commented on an Instagram post by The shadow room about Drake liking a video of the fight, writing, “I thought those were guys serving bottles ha!”

In a statement after the altercation, the Miami rapper said: TMZ“Vancouver is a beautiful city and he can’t wait to get back there.” He also said that no one on his team was seriously injured.
