Subway man arrested and accused of shooting another driver in incident of driving aggression

Oklahoma City police have arrested a man accused of shooting another person during a road rage incident earlier this month.

According to Oklahoma City police, Antonio Dixon slowed to about 30 miles per hour in front of another car on Interstate 240 near Santa Fe Avenue.

According to reports, the victim flashed his lights at Dixon at that moment.

According to police, Dixon then repeatedly hit the victim with his brakes. The victim thought he had escaped, but then the other driver stopped on the shoulder, pointed a firearm at the victim’s driver and fired one shot.

The victim dodged the bullet.

To identify Dixon, police used cell phone video of the victim and nearby surveillance video.

Police point out that in similar situations it is important to remain calm, not to interact with the other driver and to get to a safe place as safely as possible.

Dixon is in prison on several charges, including assault with a deadly weapon.
