Capitol Police discover shot man in crashed vehicle

JACKSON, Mississippi (WLBT) – Capitol Police discovered the body of a man who had been shot in a crashed car.

The vehicle was discovered near Bellevue Place in Jackson on Friday.

According to authorities, one arrest was made in connection with the incident.

This is the 67th murder in the city of Jackson in 2024.
