VIDEO: Police evacuate apartment building in Langley City

A Langley City home was evacuated and police cordoned off the area in the 5300 block of 204th Street.

Police were called to the three-storey building around 6 a.m. on Monday, July 1, said RCMP Cpl. Sean Oliver.

There is no danger to the public,” Oliver said.

A local resident reported hearing a loud noise “like a bang” around 8 a.m.

They said officers on the scene spoke of a standoff with a possibly armed person.
