61-year-old Saukville man dead, 12-year-old hospitalized

A 61-year-old man is dead and a 12-year-old is recovering in the hospital after a two-vehicle crash that occurred June 30 near County Road S and State Highway 67 in Plymouth, according to the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office. The Sheriff’s Office said the Sheboygan County Emergency Communications Center received a 911 call just after 1 p.m. A 61-year-old Saukville man was driving east on State Highway 67 in a 2014 Hyundai SUV. A 53-year-old Plymouth man was driving west on State Highway 67 in a 2016 GMC truck and turned south onto County Road S, colliding with the eastbound vehicle. The 61-year-old Saukville man was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Sheriff’s Office. A 12-year-old passenger in the Hyundai was taken to a hospital by Flight for Life. The sheriff’s office did not disclose whether the 53-year-old man was arrested. However, they said alcohol appears to have played a role. More information should be released on July 1.

According to the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office, a 61-year-old man is dead and a 12-year-old is recovering in the hospital following a two-vehicle crash that occurred June 30 near County Road S and State Highway 67 in Plymouth.

The sheriff’s office said the Sheboygan County Emergency Services Center received a 911 call shortly after 1 p.m. A 61-year-old Saukville man was driving a 2014 Hyundai SUV eastbound on State Highway 67. A 53-year-old Plymouth man was driving a 2016 GMC truck westbound on State Highway 67, turned south onto County Road S and collided with the eastbound vehicle.

The 61-year-old man from Saukville was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the sheriff’s office. A 12-year-old passenger in the Hyundai was taken to a hospital by Flight for Life.

The sheriff’s office did not disclose whether the 53-year-old man was arrested. However, they said alcohol may have played a role. More information should be released on July 1.
