A new Amber Alert feature especially for your furry friends

SAVANNAH, Georgia (WSAV) – Has your furry friend ever gone missing and you wished you could find him or her more easily? Well, your wishes have come true!

Fido Alert has released its own Amber Alert specifically for pets.

With three simple steps, you can ensure that you and your furry friend are reunited in no time.

Step one is to register your pet. You will receive a unique FidoID and a FREE tag. A QR code and ID will make it easier for the person who finds your pet to report the loss.

The next step is to raise an alarm. A text will be sent to all members of the network within a few kilometers with a photo of your pet and information that can help in the search for your pet.

In the final step, you and your emergency contacts will receive a text message and email when your lost pet has been found.
