Paterson man arrested for sexual assault

A man was arrested on Sunday in connection with sexual assault.

Keshawn Harley, 38, of Paterson, is charged with second-degree sexual assault, third-degree aggravated assault and simple assault as a felony of public disorderly conduct.

A woman reported she was sexually and physically assaulted in the area of ​​10th Avenue and East 26th Street in Paterson on Sunday.

Following an investigation by the Passaic County District Attorney’s Office, Harley was identified and charged. He was arrested around 10 a.m. Sunday in the area of ​​Park Avenue and East 22nd Street in Paterson.

In New Jersey, the penalty for second-degree sexual abuse is five to ten years in prison.
