Man found shot near Preston Highway

LOUISVILLE, Kentucky – Louisville police are investigating after a man was shot near Preston Highway Friday morning.

At around 3:15 a.m., Louisville Metro Police responded to a shooting in the 5500 block of Woodcross Place, according to an LMPD news release.

Officers on scene found a man with a gunshot wound. Shortly after he was found, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The LMPD Homicide Unit is investigating. There are currently no suspects.
