New Haven Police close State Street intersection for shooting investigation

NEW HAVEN, Connecticut (WTNH) – New Haven Police are diverting traffic from the intersection of State and Ferry Streets for an investigation.

According to a police spokesperson, a shooting report was initiated in the area. People are being asked to avoid the area. The road was still closed as of 6:30 p.m.

Officials are not aware of anyone being shot.
