Survivors of fanatical rapist David Cooper’s reign of terror say they should ‘rot in hell’ as the beast is locked up

THREE survivors of bigoted rapist David Cooper’s reign of terror told the madman: “Rot in hell.”

The brave women spoke to The Scottish Sun newspaper on Sunday as they met for the first time since a harrowing trial exposed the sectarian thug’s drink and drug-motivated violence.

They supported each other as cocaine-addicted Rangers fan Cooper, 38, began a 12-year prison sentence after being charged with attempted murder, three kidnappings, multiple rapes and hate-fuelled rampages spanning nearly two decades.

The trio – all former partners of the monster – linked arms and told us: “He is a monster.”

Cooper’s first survivor, who suffered under him from 2003 to 2005, stressed: “He has no remorse. He is an animal.”

The second victim, who was tortured by Cooper from 2002 to 2006, said: “I don’t think he realised how strong we all are. He thought he could intimidate us and we would break down.”

“But telling the truth about him gave me strength.

“I hope he feels what I felt when I hid in a corner from him in fear.”

And another ex-partner – who was abused by the thug while eight months pregnant – insisted: “All he cared about was alcohol, drugs and Rangers. Now he can’t hurt a woman.”

She said the bully’s outbursts were worst after his team’s games – whether he won or lost.

The woman, also a Light Blues fan, recalled: “Even if Rangers had won, if you had been even a little bit critical of the team you would have conceded it.

“He hit me, he tried to gouge out my eyeballs and he spat on me.

“I don’t know how I survived, he tried to kill me so many times.”

And she told how she was beaten by the madman when she was pregnant.

She recalled: “He pushed me face down on my stomach and kicked me.

“This was a child he could have hurt or done worse – and he didn’t care.

“I had bald patches on my head because he ripped out my extensions and I was black and blue. He was an animal.”

“I didn’t go because he told me he was going to kill me.

“And because of his horrific behavior, I believed him.”

His malicious behavior continued for several years, but after meeting her current partner in 2020, she was finally able to escape him.

A recurring theme throughout his 19 years of violence was attacking women in his car at high speed.

And the gangster’s first victim, who was 15 when the two started dating, admitted that Cooper was a bully “from the start.”

She recalled: “David spat in my face, grabbed me by the neck and slammed my head against the car window.”

His reign of violence was finally exposed in April 2022, when he threw a fourth woman out of a moving car and left her bleeding on a highway ramp.

Police launched an investigation and found other victims who shared their own traumatic experiences with Cooper.

It later emerged during a trial at the High Court in Edinburgh how the die-hard Ibrox fan threw a woman down a flight of stairs on what was known as ‘Helicopter Sunday’ in May 2005 after Rangers won the league.

The Scottish Sun newspaper reported that vile Cooper, from Larkhall in Lanarkshire, also called his victim a “Fenian b*****d” and a “bead-rattler”.

Cooper was placed in a cage by a High Court judge in Glasgow earlier this month.

Lord Mulholland told the Beast, “You are clearly a danger to women.

“They showed no remorse and blamed the victims.

“It is not your fault that the victims are in this predicament. It is your violent sex crimes that have landed you in the dock.”
