Traffic Alert: Accident leads to closure of South Boulevard during rush hour

CHARLOTTE, NC — Expect delays in the South End area after a semi-truck downed a power pole and AT&T lines.

The accident occurred Tuesday afternoon on South Boulevard between E. Tremont Avenue and Magnolia Avenue.

The cleanup work is expected to last until at least 8 p.m.

According to Duke Energy, about 400 customers are without power.

Expect delays in the area and look for alternative routes.
