1 dead and 1 injured after car crash in Jefferson County, Indiana | News from WDRB

LOUISVILLE, Kentucky (WDRB) — One person was killed and another was seriously injured in a traffic accident in southern Indiana on Sunday.

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office responded to a single-vehicle rollover crash on West Deputy Pike Road near North County Road 300 West in Madison Township. One occupant of the vehicle died at the scene. The identity of the person has not been determined.

The driver of the vehicle was flown by helicopter to the University of Louisville Hospital with serious injuries.

The road is closed while authorities investigate the accident.
