Elon Musk says his transgender daughter was ‘killed by the woke mind virus’

Elon Musk says his transgender daughter is “dead.”

The billionaire, currently the richest man in the world, made the remark in a lengthy interview with right-wing agitator Jordan Peterson for The Daily Wire.

Musk’s 20-year-old daughter, one of six children he had with his first wife Justine Wilson, officially changed her gender to female and her name to Vivian Jenna Wilson in 2022, dropping Musk’s last name and stating in court documents that she “no longer wishes to be related to Musk in any way.”

Peterson called the psychiatrists involved in the sex reassignment of minors “despicable cowards” and compared them to “the Nazis.”

Musk agreed, saying Governor Gavin Newsom’s stance on the issue was one of the reasons he moved his company headquarters out of California.

Musk then said, “So-called gender-affirming care is a terrible euphemism, that’s for sure. It’s child mutilation and sterilization under the guise of gender-affirming care.”

He added: “It’s evil. I mean, you take children who are obviously often well below the age of consent – almost every child goes through some sort of identity crisis, it’s just part of growing up – so it’s very possible for adults to manipulate children who are having a natural identity crisis into believing that they are the wrong gender and that they have to be the other gender.”

Musk said: “We have an age of consent for a reason. The reason why, for example, you can’t get a tattoo or drink alcohol or drive a car under 18 and there are age limits on what you can do is because if we allow children to take permanent actions at 10, 12 or 14, they will do things that they will deeply regret later on.”

Peterson asked, “Why are you willing to make this an issue?”

Musk responded, “This happened to one of my older sons. I was basically tricked into signing documents for one of my older sons, Xavier, before I really understood what was going on. Also, COVID was going on, so there was a lot of confusion. I was told Xavier might commit suicide.”

He said: “It was not explained to me that puberty blockers are actually just sterilizing agents. Anyway, I lost my son.”

Musk added: “It’s called ‘deadnaming’ for a reason. The reason is because your son is dead. So my son Xavier is dead, killed by the woke mind virus.”

Musk concluded by saying, “I vowed to destroy the woke mind virus after this, and we are making some progress.”

“Deadnaming” refers to a name used by a transgender person before gender reassignment surgery.
