Michael Rainey Jr. speaks about the sexual assault incident

Michael Rainey Jr. breaks his silence after being sexually assaulted.

During an appearance on Tylil James’ Twitch stream, Rainey Jr. was groped by the streamer’s sister. After the incident Performance Star was seen making uncomfortable faces.

James later issued a statement about the incident. “I literally try to ignore this sh*t but I’m getting texts.” He continued to look into the camera. “The energy changed and the n***** got up and left. All that sh*t really affected me so much.”

The streamer added that while he is constantly surrounded by celebrities, his sister is not, and also expressed how angry he is about everything that has happened. The 23-year-old actor shared his thoughts on groping on his Instagram story.

“By now everyone has seen the video circulating online. I am still in shock and don’t know how to process what happened last night,” he wrote. “This is an unfortunate situation that I do not condone in any way. I cannot take this lightly because I know that if the roles were reversed I would be in serious trouble. The fact is that sexual assault is never okay, regardless of gender or status. We are all human and should respect each other. Most importantly, we should always respect ourselves.”

James added that he “does not condone any kind of attack” and that he would support any decision Rainey Jr. makes.

“After the actions that occurred during my stream last night, I want to sincerely apologize to Michael and his family for what happened,” James said on Monday. “My little sister was completely wrong and went overboard. What she did was very inappropriate and unacceptable. I am truly embarrassed and disgusted by her behavior. I completely respect whatever Michael chooses to do in this situation. After seeing the clip, I was completely shocked by what she did. I will take extreme precautions on future streams to avoid similar issues and have banned her from participating in future streams.”
