KCKPD issues Silver Alert for 67-year-old man with Alzheimer’s

KANSAS CITY, Missouri – Kansas City, Kansas police have issued a Silver Alert for a missing 67-year-old man diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease.

According to police, Amilcar Leiva was last seen at home in the area of ​​South 12 Street and Homer Avenue around 1:30 p.m. on Monday.

He was last seen wearing a black shirt, khaki pants and black Adidas running shoes.

His height is described as 1.60 m and his weight as 86 kg.

According to KCKPD, he left his home in a white 2001 Toyota Rav4 with Kansas license plate 1179AEN.

Police are asking anyone who has seen him or has information on his whereabouts to call 911.
