OHP: 1 dead after crash on I-44 | News

TULSA, Okla. – A Louisiana man is dead after a crash on westbound I-44 at US-75.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP), Dakota Ingram, 21, of Lake Charles, Louisiana, died from serious injuries following a semi-truck accident.

According to OHP, Ingram was riding a motorcycle when he collided with a tractor-trailer driven by 53-year-old Sidney Denton of South Dakota. Another truck driven by 35-year-old Charles Major of Tulsa was also involved in the wreck.

According to OHP, the drivers of the tractor-trailer and truck were uninjured.

FOX23 saw OHP and the coroner on scene at the interchange between 244 and I-44, where traffic was backed up due to the crash.

Details surrounding the crash are still being investigated.
