Arkansas man sentenced to 30 years in prison for child sexual abuse

FAYETTEVILLE, Arkansas – A Green Forest man has been sentenced to 30 years in prison without the possibility of parole for sexually abusing a child.

Terencio “Junior” Perez-Cancino, 33, was arrested and charged with two counts of sexual exploitation of minors through the production of child pornography.

The sentencing hearings took place in U.S. District Court in Fayetteville.

According to a press release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Arkansas (WDAR), Department of Homeland Security agents discovered that Perez-Cancino had uploaded images to Snapchat showing him sexually abusing an eight-year-old girl.

He admitted to creating the images about two years ago, WDAR said. The child stated in an interview that Perez-Cancino sexually abused her over a four-year period.
